Trial Registration in DRKS Completed

Study

The PSRT study has been registered in the German Clinical Trials Register (DRKS00037137). With registration, the study design, the research question and the planned procedure are publicly accessible.

Transparency as a principle

Public registration is a cornerstone of sound clinical research. It records what is to be investigated before the results are known — and thereby makes any later shifts in objectives visible. The entry covers the primary and secondary endpoints as well as the complete statistical analysis plan.

For outside observers — professional audiences and the interested public alike — this means that the study can be traced at any time under its registration number. What is ultimately reported can be checked against what was announced in advance. This commitment to one’s own specifications guards against selective reporting.

One building block in the overall picture

The DRKS registration is one of the steps by which the study secures its methodological robustness: independent data management by IMEBI, a pre-specified analysis plan, and public documentation in the register. Only this interplay makes the later findings robustly interpretable for the professional community.
